About WhatsHalalA brief look at WhatsHalal and its overall objective in the Muslim Community.

Planning for WhatsHalal started in 2015. At the time there was an increasing awareness and need amongst the muslim community for clarity on the “halal-ness” on food and products. This was substantiated by a much talked about issue on the Halal-ness of food from non-Muslim vendors that were sold at the Geylang Serai Bazaar during the Ramadhan period; or the question about “No Pork, No Lard” labelling of certain food establishment.
WhatsHalal’s objective is to be the definitive guide and provider of unquestionably Halal Thoyiban food to the Muslim community. One of the missions of WhatsHalal is to create a Halal ecosystem that benefits both the merchant to consumers, locally and internationally. We seek to reduce, even eliminate, doubt of the Halal-ness of the food you consume, in a fast changing times where information may not be substantially available or easily sourced.
There is no question that our endeavour is a service to the community at large, who’s need for true Halal food sources shows that our believe in consuming what is permitted is still a strong factor in determining our food, and ultimately, our life choices.
We are providers in service to, and for the benefit of, The Believers.
